In theory this still needs a full release vote. http://www.apache.org/legal/release-policy.html#what Also, will this be built off the same tag as the beta intended to be done in about a week? It would require some thought about what to do with the sources. With our current plan to do a beta in advance of freeze, having at least a beta source (and possibly binary) zip voted on may have benefits in terms of promoting wider testing. > And BTW, VSNetBeans is getting traction and positive reviews, users like it > over other Java support ext > https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ASF.apache-netbeans-java&ssr=false#review-details > I believe this will be even better after 12.4 when projects handling in > VSNetBeans will be extended to better work in VSCode which is projectless IDE.
