More use of integration branches is a good thing IMO. Master should be kept releasable anyway, and particularly a week away from freeze. Also given the "no major structural changes" during releases (so we don't have issues merging delivery), this might be one thing I'd request we keep out of master until at least NB13 is out of the door.
