I think a combination of cnd and cpplite is the way to go.
I wonder if there's any impact on VSNetBeans, or anything else, to
consider if you merge into a single cluster? VSNetBeans just includes
the debugger module I believe?

D'oh, I didn't know of this dependency. I'll investigate.

If this is the case and there're other dependencies with "cpplite.debugger" then it should be migrated into the "ide" cluster, otherwise we'll end up with modules everywhere, am I right?

Maybe we want to refactor "cpplite/cpplite.debugger" into "ide/lsp.debugger", close to the existing "ide/lsp.clients".

Master should be kept releasable anyway, and particularly a week away
from freeze. Also given the "no major structural changes" during
releases (so we don't have issues merging delivery), this might be one
thing I'd request we keep out of master until at least NB13 is out of
the door.

Fully agree. Anyway I'm asking because of keeping "cnd" as a historic branch where the all donation has been cleaned-up, i.e., clean of developments and enhancements.

But anyway we can fork "cnd" into "cnd-donation" from any commit we want in the future, in case of need.

Kind regards,
Antonio
