As far as I know, Eric is working on triggering RC6 - sync PR is in test at https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/4150 Initial reason for a new RC was a bug fix PR opened against the sampler module, then problems with an accidental merge of master into the delivery branch and problems with ASF build system have delayed things further. You might notice RC5 never really happened. Given minor changes between RC4 and RC6 perhaps won't be too long after it until there can be a vote build, although a few days solid testing is always good!
