The branching and build of 16-rc1 are now done. Module specs incremented and issue template updated in master. The VM configuration, along with website .htaccess changes, are also done. Need a plugins endpoint for 16 ASAP though as it's 404'ing. Thanks Eric for setting up pushing the release candidates to https://nightlies.apache.org/netbeans/candidate/netbeans/ Is it worth considering VSCode and unsigned installers there too? Not sure if we need netbeans-platform too? Maybe time to stop building and releasing that separately like that anyway? I've added a pinned discussion at https://github.com/apache/netbeans/discussions We agreed to do this last time but it wasn't actioned, and anyway easier with the nightlies link. I couldn't work out how to mark it as an announcement - seems we don't have correct permissions? Text OK? Feel free to edit. We should possibly consider a README on nightlies.a.o too? Warning about not being an official release, etc.? Think that's everything for today! Brain turning to mush.
