Support for emoji glyphs in netbeans

Hi,
Currently i can't just use Unicode emojis in the editor. I'm wondering if
it is only a font issue or some other problem (like the fact that it is
encoded on 2 UTF-8 chars). Intellij and various modern code editors (like
VSCode, etc.) support it so we should too either by embedding a correct
font and if required providing a fallback mecanism to it.
Does someone know more about it ?
