Yes, it's been mentioned on that mailing list a few times, though one thing we need to do is change all references everywhere to the new users mailing list.
That means changing the references throughout netbeans.org, though then the question becomes -- can you check your changes to the website into the website repo and create issues for any things that we need to work on together? Once we have the website migrated to Apache, we can switch from running it on the Oracle servers to running it on the Apache servers ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-14281).
