Geertjan, Thanks for this. For me it’s important to know what’s being done, the reasons why and what’s next to do.
I think this should be posted in the NetBeans blog too. This is public information that many users may be eager to see, how the project evolves and that it is in good shape. Marketing stuff everybody will welcome ;-). The LLVM guys have a weekly newsletter at [1]. I’m not involved in LLVM at all (but who knows) but I love reading their weekly newsletter. Maybe we want to post something like that as well.
