I was going through a minifi java installation on windows yesterday and ran into a number of issues, one of them revolving around the installation as a service. While these could be fixed via a new issue and PR, it seems current minifi releases have been stalled due to an issue with updating the minifi code base to a newer nifi version.
I know there are tickets for trying to move minifi into nifi as its own assembly, are these still actively being worked? Does it make sense to cut a 0.6.0 release with improvements but still based off of Nifi 1.7? I have some time to put towards either option and am looking for the current state of those tickets and some ideas about how to implement them if work has been started previously. Thanks, Chad
