Hi Johnson,
Here's some general advice for upgrading your NiFi 1.17 installation. There
have been a lot of changes since NiFi 1.17 so you won't be able to jump
straight to the latest version.

   - NiFi 1.x is no longer maintained so ideally you want to aim to upgrade
   to NiFi 2.
   - Because you are on NiFi 1.17 you would need to upgrade to the latest
version of NiFi 1 (1.28.0) before you can upgrade to NiFi 2.x.
   - The NiFi documentation is good, I would suggest starting there ->
https://nifi.apache.org/documentation/v1/. The admin guide has some
useful information on upgrading your NiFi cluster.
   - Make sure you back up your NiFi installation before you begin
upgrading and test the upgrade in a non-production environment before doing
   this for real.
   - There are a lot of features and processors deprecated in NiFi 2, so
you will need to make sure that you thoroughly test your workflows.

Kind regards,
Jim
