Greg I do not plan to reorganize existing _repositories_ and their structure nor to reorganize the _project_ in any way :-) The unfortunate name "GitHub Projects" perfectly shadows "project repositories that reside on GitHub" that we commonly call "github projects" or "github repos". So if you think that I wanted to reorganize anything in nuttx or nuttx-apps repositories then be sure I am not. How could you think like this about me :D :D "GitHub Projects"^TM is a new app/plugin (just like Issues, Wiki, Pull Requests, etc, it is visible in the top bar of the repository) for tasks, issues, and pr visualization in _existing_repositories_. Its a kind of "management" utility to visualize Roadmap based on existing Issues and PRs. It can also display the same information in a form of Table or Board (lol). Long story short instead of standard familiar list of Issues (human unreadable) GitHub creates this great opportunity to additionally create a table with some selected issues plus some additional information like hierarchy progress timeline etc (human seem to prefer this display mode). And its on GitHub where we review Issues and PR, so it may be easier to use rather than external wiki or any other "roadmap tool", and it should self-update on tasks progress. So I have created a playground to see what it is, how it works, and if that matches our recent discussion in terms of tasks, areas, specialists, progress, timeline, and roadmap. You have admin rights, so if you think this sux just delete it :D https://github.com/orgs/apache/projects So, initially, I was refering to this "web app plugin" called "GitHub Projects"^TM. I have created 4 example projects to play around with to see how to use them. I did not know how it worked at first so I created 3 "projects", but while expoloring it seems we can gather tasks (issues/prs) from nuttx, nuttx-apps, nuttx-website repositories and keep them in one "project" called Apache NuttX RTOS. I did not delete anything so we can compare and choose best choice. We can also use separate additional "GitHub Project"^TM to track GSoC related tasks not to mix them with development tasks. Note the long name because it seems these "GitHub Projects"^TM are part of Apache organization not the code repository. We are first to try it, but there may be more, so we need a self-explanatory name. Thanks :-) Tomek -- CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info
