May be I was not clear: I also added the jar in the ODE installer and
changed the Jbi.xml. In this way the component keep itself the libraries
that it needs (or most of them, I think), it should be deployable also
on other containers I hope (but I never tried other containers).

Yeah, but i'd like to make it work in ServiceMix 4 too and not rely on
ServiceMix 3 classloader at all to be able to deploy it onto other JBI
containers.

I simply add geronimo-connector-1.2-beta.jar (the jar used in ServiceMix
3.1.2) to the classpath of ODE 1.1.1 component.
It seems to work.
Thanks

I think we could fix the classloader so that Ode can be deployed on any
JBI
container,
because atm, it still rely on some classes provided by the ServiceMix
container classloader.
I had started working on that a few weeks ago but did not finish. I'll
try
to work on that
this week or next week.

What kind of problems are we talking about here ?
IIRC this one:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ODE-224
Reviewing the actual problem, it would probably be trivial to roll
that up
in the 1.1 branch as well.

Hi all,
when a new version of ODE will be released ?
I'm using ODE within ServiceMix, but with SMX 3.2.1 it doesn't
work
(as
you already know) and I have some difficulties building it from
sources.
I was actually wondering whether we should do another incremental
1.1.2
release, we have a few fixes there that are valuable. But for the
support
of
more recent ServiceMix versions, I believe it's only been
implemented
in
another branch which would be 1.2 and isn't ready yet for prime time
(probably needs a couple more months).
