There have been several attemps (ml postings, tickets, etc.) in the past to trying toaddress the broader aspect of 3rd party functionalities, but none of these led to something that could be regarded as consensus, and from thereon materialize into actionable items the community could work upon.
Maybe, now the moment is there to achieve this? Maybe in a separate thread?
