Hello Jacques, I highly recommend first going with Ubuntu 22.04. It's very stable and we recently upgraded most of our on-premise and on-cloud servers from Ubuntu 20.04 to Ubuntu 22.04. And we haven't faced any major issues from this(20.04 to 22.04) upgrade. https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle At the start of new year 2027, we could start a discussion of upgrading the server from Ubuntu 22.04 to Ubuntu 24.04. Next few months will give us some time to have better applications(Docker container bases and internal applications that depend on specific library versions) compatibility with Ubuntu 24.04.
