Ajax pagination not working in collapsed Find Screens

I noticed that if a Find Screen search form is collapsed then the pagination
implemented with the on-event-update-area tag does not work.
Steps to reproduce:
1) go to https://demo.hotwaxmedia.com/accounting/control/ListFixedAssets
2) press the "Find" button
3) collapse the "Search options" panel
4) press the "Next" button
the expected pagination is not performed.
