I have done the following improvements to the VisualTheme:
- added the visualtheme.default property in general.properties
This let us select the default theme that will be used as long as the user does
not select another one.
If the visualtheme.default is not set (as OOTB) then the default theme will be
"DEFAULT"
- removed the visualtheme record for the "_NA_" UserLogin
In this way, if a default theme is specified in the visualtheme.default
property it will be used for the login page also.
- added a new VisualThemeResource type VT_SCREENSHOT to have a theme preview
screenshot
- changed the Visual theme selection screen to show the VisualTheme preview
screenshot
- created the no_screenshot.jpg
This, at the moment is a copy of the default.jpg image showing "No photo
available", could be something more specific.
I merged together the two patches because it was not easy for me to make a
patch to a patched and not committed file.
I hope its ok with you. The new patch is "VisualTheme_Merged.patch" and should
be comprensive of everything needed but the binary file "no_screenshot.jpg"
that is attached separately.
I attach to this issue also a new theme_1.zip file that now includes the
screenshot jpg.
