You have no ideas the time I spent on this. Some have been so quickly and
quasi-automatically done (not all by me, Neogia team did a
whole bunch in Summer 2006 prior to my change and Erwan is also continuously
improving labels) that they were not all very well
translated. From time to time I stumble upon one which is so bad that I can't
refrain myself to correct.
"Invalide" in French for instance does not even exist in this sense, it only
means a disabled person:

But yes you are right, French is a difficult language, very funny though :o)
Another interesting aspect in languages (at least for European languages) is
how they differ when pronounced or written
(heterography and homography). In this aspect Spanish ("pronunciation can be
entirely determined from spelling"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_language) and it seems Finish (new for me:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterography_and_homography) are better than
others. English and especially French being the worse :/
Not sure, but maybe a reason why Spanish is the second natively spoken language
in the world after Chinese.
