Functionality, is certainly core to what we do. My thinking behind the React stuff is accessibility for people who want to develop OODT further or use it in existing projects. Standalone components should be easier to integrate than a full web app, and for people just wanting OPSUI functionality, this provides that but with (hopefully) a lower barrier to entry for existing web developers who might be looking for something interesting to get their teeth into.
Whether that is the case or not, time will tell, but I do have a willing band of volunteers wanting to help, so we’ll see where we get to. W.r.t your comment on re-branding, yes it would be nice for easier rebranding... but the functionality is more important than the aesthetics IMHO. OPSUI seems to throw stack traces all over the place at intermittent periods. This makes it difficult to work with reliably. I would really just like to see it work more reliably... The above is not very helpful I admit. It is however my opinion at this point in time.
