I did research and seems that derby doesn't support REPLACE.
any idea how to do replace using SQL statement in derby?

I believe it is for easy DB setup. yes, ooziedb.sh can generate SQL statements,
but normally people do not know how to run ooziedb.sh, and having ready-made
sql scripts helps
