1) Do TomEE have any plan to become a complete replacement for JBoss AS 7 ?
2) My EAR projects having more than ten WAR and 100s of jars which all work
together as an ERP project , can i get the following capability from TomEE.?
2.1) Multiple Data source / Transaction Support (JTA/JPA/Hibernate)
2.2) Caching
2.3) Struts2, Spring, Hibernate framework support or (CDI/EJB3.1 now we
are not using)
2.4) Clustering and Load Balancing.
2.5) Jackrabbit rar deployment
2.6) And many more, it doesn't really matter how is my EAR now. You can
think as creating a new EAR (ERP) project with the above capabilities.
I don't know whether you have ever tried deploying an EAR in JBoss AS 7, do
TomEE behave the same for my ear?
You have already answered for my question by saying TomEE is not a full
profile. So the question no (1) above, is the main question now.
