https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENJPA-3027 As proposed on dev@ (option 2): the scheduled Databases workflow tests each database against its oldest supported and its newest LTS release, instead of PostgreSQL 11 (EOL 2023) and MySQL 8.0 (EOL 2026). | Database | Before | Now | |---|---|---| | PostgreSQL | 11 | 15, 18 | | MySQL | 8.0 | 8.4, 9.7 | | MariaDB | 11.8 | 10.11, 12.3 | Innovation releases (MySQL 26.x, MariaDB 13.x) are left out. PostgreSQL 14 reaches EOL in November 2026, so 15 is the oldest. The `test-*-docker` profiles default to the newest LTS of each for local runs.
