Hey- Why don't we call this first vote (and this thread) closed. (Not really meant to be a question.)
The proposal went out over 2 days ago [1], and we've had no -1 votes. That means (to me) that the PSC agrees that: "If we agree to pursue sponsorship for OpenLayers via the OSGeo Project Sponsorship program, the PSC believes that the sponsorship document referenced [2] adequately describes the goals, intended uses, and potential benefits of project sponsorship." Obviously the meat of this discussion involves convincing anyone who objects that the OSGeo Project Sponsorship program is a good way forward. Let's begin a new thread for that discussion.
