Roger, FYI – This is very helpful; thanks for pointing it out. FWIW, different programs have different definitions of "household" so the household module needs to allow for those definitions to vary (i.e., there can be different types of households). Ultimately, we could envision taking lessons learned from the household module to build up the power of cohorts within OpenMRS to accommodate households and even consider cohort-level observations (something that would be a boon for household data, treatment group data, etc.). We've added "Household Module" to the list of topics for the 2011 Implementers Meeting <https://wiki.openmrs.org/x/cQNLAQ> in order to explore the household module as well as how household data might find its way into core over time.
