You might consider using Subversive plugin instead of Subclipse.

Installation seems to be slightly easier and it is hosted at Eclipse 
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/

Installation:
1) Install Eclipse Indigo JEE
2) Install m2eclipse via update site
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/milestones/1.0
3) Start "Check out Maven Projects from SCM" wizards and click on "Find
more SCM connectors in the m2e Marketplace"
4) select m2e-subversive and install it
