Rowan, did eclipse create the .classpath file in your omod project?
When you package the omod project, does it generate a .omod file in
the omod/target folder?

If it didn't recognize the maven-openmrs-plugin it might not be able
to do those things.  The plugin was written by Matt Blanchette to tell
maven how to package the omod.
