The value is that there is more to the growth curve forms from the CDC
than the growth curves. Our clinicians are used to the specific form
that they manually plot the values on and want to see that exact form.
It also requires a ton less programming effort to overlay the dot onto
an existing PDF. Please see how little code it takes from my previous email.

I don't see what the value is in trying to overlay the pdf. The
growth curves are actually generated by polynomials or line segments,
I forget which, with 5 parameters per curve (a curve being a
particular percentile of a particular chart). The coefficients are
freely available from CDC or WHO on their websites, they're not
difficult to implement (I've done it).

I mean literally overlay on the PDF from the CDC.

If you mean the specific numbers on the CDC growth charts, Rita's
module allows you configure what exactly the curves look like. (But I
assume you mean you want to literally overlay on a PDF from CDC, in
which case, yes, her module won't do that.)
For the curious, this is the Growth Chart module (wiki

Nevermind. I found it. I would like to find a solution that uses the
actual cdc growth charts, though.

I think Rita Cuckavich wrote a module that plots that for you...
