You need to have the following on your "beans" xml element in the spring
configuration file:
<beans ...
xmlns:util="http://www.springframework.org/schema/util"
xsi:schemaLocation="...
http://www.springframework.org/schema/util
http://www.springframework.org/schema/util/spring-util-3.0.xsd">
Try putting this in your moduleApplicationContext.xml file. (Presumably
somewhere in that file you have util: ?
