no, we plan to drop these old formats as well. This was planned since a long time for OpenOffice and even long before go-oo was renamed in LO. The reason is a technical one, the filter code have to be maintained in a special library and it is always a lot of work, especially when you want to do some core changes. The usage of the old formats is rather seldom and you can use any OpenOffice version < 4.0 to convert any of these files in a newer format which is recommended anyway. Juergen
