Hello Luis, For technical people Development or QA are good places. In our Introduction to Development page [1] we have a section called "Finding Easy Tasks" that you should review. When we receive bug reports from users we try to classify them by difficulty level. The ones marked "easy" or "simple" are good places to start. For example, we have 21 bugs marked "easy" right now. If you want to help with these tasks, the first step is to set up a build environment for OpenOffice, download the source and produce a build. More information on that is in the Introduction to Development page [1] as well.
