Is the cleanup important? Is the idea that it will make maintenance easier? This is certainly possible. But it is also possible to break things in the short term. So I wonder: Is there any easy way to test the entire website, all www.openoffice.org, for broken links? It might be good to do this test now, before the cleanup, and then repeat again after the cleanup, so we can diff the two lists to see what broke.
