it seems you have a general problem with your Solaris build. A dictionary extension is of course different to an add-on where you have real code and have to bridge between Java <-> UNO <-> C++ Can you start the wizards under the File menu? They are implemented in Java and should trigger a similar bridging scenario. But anyway it is quite hard to help you if you can't provide the necessary information. And unfortunately you are on Solaris where we have no official build in place for you.
