OpenOffice does not include any functionality by default to backup created documents to an external service or in the cloud. Your documents are stored on the device which you have chosen. In general this would be your local harddisk. But may be you are using DropBox or a similar service on which you had stored you document.
Thus, unfortunately there is nothing that we - the Apache OpenOffice project - can do to bring back your documents.
