The only item missing for me is a label feature to work with say, Avery
labels. If a labelling package is available on your totally accessible
web site, I cannot find anything. Perhaps I'm missing something?

You don't write it. So, I'm trying to help you. OpenOffice has a little wizard to create labels. Avery is one of the many possible brands that can be used with even more types. Just have a look in menu "File - New - Labels".
