The listings of versions of AOO for Macs on the download page causes
some confusion for new users. Two options are listed, OS X 64-bit
(x86-64)(DMG) & OS X 32-bit (x86)(DMG). Users think this refers to
either a 32 bit or a 64 bit operating system. All Intel based Macs are
are 64 bit (except for the first 2006 MacBooks & iMacs). The download
page doesn't indicate that it is 32 bit or 64 bit versions of AOO that
are being referred to.

Could this be made clearer so there is less confusion in choosing the
proper download.

then I would suggest to change it like the following to make it clear that it depends on the OS and which version:

"OS X 64-bit (x86-64)(DMG)" --> "OS X (version => 10.7) (DMG)"

"OS X 32-bit (x86)(DMG)" --> "OS X (version <= 10.6) (DMG)"
