For C# the CLI binding page inside that guide is important: https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/ProUNO/CLI/CLI_Language_Binding If Apache POI (https://poi.apache.org) does everything you want (eg. no macros), it may be easier to generate documents using it instead.
