And indeed I would be uncomfortable in confirming my +1 vote knowing
that the Mac builds in RC5 were broken for some unspecified reason and
that a rebuild with "secret sauce" fixed it.
So, since nobody did it so far, I've opened a dedicated issue

while we can understand whether this is the same issue as

or not.
Jim, could you please provide some basic info here or in the issue? If
this happened to you after building 4 RCs without the bug, then we
really need to document it for the future as it could happen again in
any future version.
