Please post the output of your "gcc -dumpversion". Are you able to try some changes out? If so, on line 86 of main/basebmp/inc/basebmp/packedpixeliterator.hxx, change the 0 to 0u (which is used elsewhere in that file and works). Then try building again and report back.
