...maybe Matthias? Please? :-) It is my first tentative at addressing bug #126869 and it may be worth testing by some of the volunteers watching it. It should show one more progress bar that follows the whole saving process of a Writer document. We should check if this is enough to have AOO stop any pending shutdown until save is complete.
