I tested on Intel with macOS 10... and cold not replicate. So it is

BTW: The issue with the "Check for Updates" dialog is macOS 15 (and higher)
only on Apple Silicon (Rosetta 2).

Compiled my favorite branch (Pilot-Pirx-iconset) using good old Ubuntu 18.04.
The new icons look good both on the Splash and on the Start Center!

I did some minor changes (position/size) since then and have now merged them
into that branch.
I think it is safe to cherry pick to branch 41X in time for 4.1.16 RC2, unless
someone objects.
To be honest, I already cherry-picked to AOO41X... ;-)
But apart from the new logo, this here is a release blocker for me, that needs
to be solved in RC2:
