Hi Adrian, please start a new thread if you write to a mailing list. Just relpying to an unrelated mail confuses the mail reader software. Your mail is not really related to "A question about cursor direction in Impress", isn't it?
1) What compiler are most people using on open office, has anyone tried the open watcom compiler,?
I guess you're talking about Windows then, or is open watcom available for linux/solaris/FreeBSD/MacOSX ? Has nothing to do with trying, without spending a lot of work on the build environment it will not work. See <http://tools.openoffice.org/#Build> for more details. And to answer your question regarding compiling on Windows: You need a .NET2003 Visual C++ compiler. With everything else you're on your own, but a lot of people would be gratefull if you get OOo to build with a non-MS compiler. ;) Volker
2) has there been any developement using Wxwindows sytem ? 3) has anyone thought of makinng open office Rexx aware? regards Adrian Suri
