Maybe, this is still the right list... :-) I tried to insert a new "number range" field into the heading of the table using Insert->Fields->Other / Variables->Number Range and choosing a new name e.g. "table1" for the number range. This field is expected to count up each time it is inserted into the document. This would solve the first half of the question "Page X", but not the second half " of Y". All my headings within the same table receive the same number. Is this a bug or a feature (since inserting the page number field seems to be expanded to a new value in every heading)?
