well, just as any previous dev build of oo.org final ;)
you get a bunch of rpms (yep, i dislike them somewhat...) that you just
have to install either by native/not so native rpm tool or convert them
to some useful format. there are instructions available for most
distributions online.

Thanks Rich and Joost! Now if I can just figure how to install it:)

Actually, I never had to do that, as I use Fedora Core 4, and the RedHat
people made install sets for FC4 for each of the snapshots, up to the
final of 2.0. They have not made one for this snapshot, however.
it is an rpm based distro, sou you should have no problems just
installing them with your favorite package management tool.
these post-2.0 dev builds have no system integration packages, so they
will not change your file associations/application shortcuts (though i
would not mind if it contained one, as oo.org got usable for me starting
from build m138 only ;) ) - this means you should be able to install
them together with 2.0 final.
On a related note, I discovered recently that I cannot install fonts
properly on FC to work with the FC distro of OOo. Fonts names appear in
OOO, but do not render. If I install the binaries from OOo, not the FC
distro, and install fonts with spadmin, they render, but do not look
exactly right. I can give details if anyone is interested in helping me.
if you have specific problems with fc builds, you probably should report
them to fedora bugsquashing system. if you have problems with official
builds, maybe you should try users list (or maybe somebody will be able
to give some help here), as this is the place i try not to wander in the
linux world a lot - oo.org linkage/ability to use system/provided
truetype libraries (and possible differences between them) isn't exactly
clear to me ;)
maybe somewhere exists a document that explains this in a language
understandable for advanced users (all combinations/problems with font
rendering, libraries etc) ?
