Yes, and unfortunately sensitive topics usually produce unproductive
discussions ;-).
Despite this, anybody interested in the "make install" thing may provide
a patch for supporting this. I can put this on my list of open points as
well, or we may ask Kai Backmann (are you listening?) to put this on his
build environment revision project.
