Yes. It is a bug. But that wasn't implied by my posting.
The tactic is that picking things to direct the discussion away from the
topic, away from the statement that the parent poster made.
I just highlighted the important "or" for you.
But still: The bugs or the fact that a package management tool can
resolve these problems *when using packages for the same distro* is
/not/ what I was talking about.
