This is not a technical problem but PEBCAK (don't use reply all in
newsgroups).

The technical problem is not a Sun but a Collab problem (and IIRC the
gateway used by Gmane has it also). I asked for a fix 2 years ago to no
avail. So what makes this a Sun problem is that people @Sun still use
this broken gateway for posting.

For those who want to know what the problem is: if a crosspost goes to
more than one OOo ML the gateway receives a mail for each list and
creates news posting from them. Unfortunately this would mean that there
would be more than one postings with the same Message ID on the news
server. This is forbidden and unfortunately the gateway does not have
the necessary intelligence to convert the crossposted mails to a news
crosspost but workarounds the problem by prefixing *every* MID with the
newsgroup name. To my knowledge there are other gateways that can handle
this smarter.
