Sorry for my mistaken , in step 2 it should be the button "New Doc" but not
be the button "Create"

I can confirm this crash on OOo 2.0.4, OOo 2.1, OOo 2.2 and SRC680m212
(current master on OOo 2.3 codeline).
But in step 2 I've hit button "New Doc." - a button "create" doesn't exist
Please submit a corresponding issue.
