Hi Ian,

building OOo on Windows is not straightforward but a build system can be
set up in a few hours. And at least instructions for setting it up are
available for free. In case you find problems you can get help on this
mailing list ([email protected]) or in an IRC channel. It's free also
but we wouldn't complain if we got some contributions in return. ;-)

Can you tell me which compiler you want to use and which Windows
version? Possible compiler versions are MS Visual Studio 2003 and 2005,
the latter also works as "Express" version if you don't need the CLI UNO
Bridge or the ActiveX control. If you wanted to stay binary compatible
to the "regular" OOo builds you must use VS 2003 for the OOo2.x code line.

Best regards,
Mathias

Please don't reply to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
