Unfortunately I think that "a few hours" is some what of an understatement. At least, when setting up a working environment under a VMware instance it is. Starting from scratch it probably took me the better part of two weeks (elpased) to setup my build environment. Admittedly, that included tracking down the software (including buying MS Visual Studio .Net 2003 second hand). Or course, it wasn't helped by the build itself taking a long time, so I'd have to kick it off, go home, come in the next morning to see what was missing or misconfigured, fix, rinse and repeat. The insturctions I followed are here: http://tools.openoffice.org/dev_docs/build_windows_tcsh.html Are these the instructions you're refering too? I found a couple of bits missing from them. I'll send through some minor corrections sometime soon.
