Hi, I'm developing some plugins for OpenOffice Writer using java and OOobean. I registered a DispatchProviderInterceptor and I created some custom toolbar/menu elements at runtime in order to use my plugins. I would like to know wether is possible to provide at runtime some help contents for my plugins or something like the text is showed using "What's this?" command.
if you want to release your addon or plugin as an OOo extension, then you can include your own help files. Those will show up in the Help Viewer, and you can also display extended tips (those yellow help bubbles).
We are currently writing the documentation that is needed. Most possibly we will provide a link as soon as the documentation is ready, on http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation and/or http://documentation.openoffice.org/
