No, I'm sorry, I should have explained. We swapped to a void-filled dataset last week, but I didn't announce anything on the mailing lists because I wanted to see how long it took anyone to notice. You can claim 1 x Beverage of your choice the next time we meet as a reward for being eagle-eyed! If anyone else wants a similar prize, there's another one for finding the most ridiculously and obviously incorrect void filling. I've found some pretty bad ones already, but I know what I'm looking for! Trust me, there's much worse examples than the one Sylvain found. > For the rest I thank you very much for all your informations I'll have a look > at all that. > > PS: just a thought, does any one knows where googlearth have is 3D model > from ? No, I don't use it. A few of us have spent time examining google terrain layer, and I'm pretty sure it comes from SRTM, with a few exceptions - switzerland being one of them where they clearly have a different dataset. I've no idea about GE though. Cheers, Andy _______________________________________________ dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/dev
